Hilltown CDC is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing the Hilltown region. They empower rural communities in Western Massachusetts through innovative programs that tackle pressing economic, housing, educational, and social challenges. Their mission is to foster sustainable growth while preserving the unique character and natural beauty that define their cherished Hilltowns.
When tasked with designing Hilltown CDC’s community center, we knew we needed to design something that would embody their values and remain true to the town in which it stands. Built close to the center of the village, this 6,200 square foot office and daycare facility reflects the scale and style of neighboring buildings. We wanted this building to feel like home to those who visit and live nearby. Optimizing for accessibility and flexibility in meeting continually varying needs is just the kind of challenge that ADCi has become known for.
